Raikou vs Zekrom

Need...bigger...scanner! My drawings are getting to big! Anyway, here is my latest piece featuring my favorite pokemon Raikou challenging the 5th gen Legendary pokemon Zekrom in one epic battle to see who is the real master of thunder! Who's going to come out on top? Who knows.

This piece was originally going to have Raikou come down from the top and make it appear as if they were falling through the thunderclouds. But in the end, I decided to keep this piece as it is. I was also going to use lightning brushes that I had but I was having better luck in making my lightning from scratch. Same goes for the clouds too.

EPIC UPDATE: Since this piece has been my most popular deviation to date I figured it was time that I improved on it a little. I didn't want to change it too much since you guys liked it so much. The most obvious change is Zekrom. I put him in a slightly different pose and improved on his anatomy a bit as well. Raikou hasn't changed much save for his ponytail thingy and I added better lighting as well. I hope you guys like cuz this too WAY longer than I expected it to.
