Skyward Encounter

FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!
I've spent a crazy amount of time working on this thing and the normal view just doesn't do this piece any justice. Its the little details that matter in this one.

Wow, its been a looooooong time since Link or any Zelda related artwork has graced the pages of my sketchbooks. I'm thinking the last time I drew Zelda stuff was back in my early to mid teen years (Well before Twilight Princess came out). Good to see that my favorite video game character of all time has finally made his debut since I got a deviantART account. Contrary to what I've been drawing here on dA lately, I actually like Zelda way more than Pokemon (gamewise anyway).

Now enough with the fun facts, what on earth is going on here? Well as usual, my OC Rowan and Skye her trusty Skarmory (Edgar the Honchcrow was thrown in there as a bonus) are flying around who knows where when suddenly they get passed by Link riding on his giant bird from the new Zelda game Skyward Sword (coming out Fall 2011 I think). I think everything else here is pretty much self explanatory. Ta ta for now!
